I joined the driven and friendly VCKC team in December 2015 to run the InsideOut Project. I came to work for the voluntary sector after a long journey in the academia.
While cultivating the passion for philosophy, ideas and intricate arguments, I bumped into Psychology and fell in love with Transactional Analysis. I started the journey to train as Transactional Analysis Psychotherapist and applying its core principles in my job roles. Working with migrants and refugees first and later with people with mental health issues, I aimed at and always focused on establishing authentic and trustful relationships to support them in fulfilling their potential and self-actualisation.
Having volunteered in Bolivia, Italy and volunteering in the UK, I believe that volunteering, among many benefits, nourishes a sense of belonging to the local community as well as communities around the world creating connectedness and growth.
I consider working as Head of Resettlement for InsideOut project at VCKC a key step in my career where my passion, knowledge and aspiration come nicely together. I am proud to be part of VCKC team and motivated to bring my enthusiasm and passion for challenges.
