I have recently joined the team, delivering and supporting the Volunteer Centre`s Wellbeing projects, after having worked with the team as a Volunteer Mentor on the My Wellbeing Journey Programme.
I am a qualified Psychologist, and obtained an MSc in Psychology in London. I am a graduate member of The British Psychological Society, studying towards a qualification in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy. Having worked in the private sector in Hungary and in the UK the last seven years, I have successfully developed projects in recruitment and digital marketing, supporting businesses to create a positive customer service experience for clients.
My passion for volunteering and for raising awareness around mental health and equality led me to gain voluntary experience in a learning disabilities service, working with vulnerable children and families in Romani communities. My experience has provided me with a good understanding of the great benefits of volunteering that I continue to pursue as an Advice Volunteer on a helpline that supports non-abusing parents and carers affected by child abuse. I am also interested in engaging in projects which promote wellbeing through creative community activities.
I consider working as Wellbeing Officer at VCKC a key milestone in my career. I am fortunate to be part of the team and to meet people that come together to improve the wellbeing of their communities.
