Community Engagement Volunteer - PRIDE
1 Thorpe Close, Ladbroke Grove

Within Community engagement, we have forged strong relationships with the numerous community organisations and individuals that make up the LGBT + people of London. We are looking to build on this work, increasing our outreach and bringing attention to the issues impacting the LGBT + community in London and around the world. As we have refocused our strategy, this is an exciting team to join our
varied and multifaceted team.
We are looking for nine volunteers to specifically target specific parts of the LGBT community. This is to ensure their needs are being highlighted and addressed during the design and delivery of Pride In London 2019.
Currently the specific groups we are looking for volunteers to engage with include;
 Disabilities
 BMEG
 Women
 Trans
 Families
 Young People
 Bisexuals
 Employee Networks
 Older People

About Pride in London (LGBTQ community)

Pride provides a platform for every part of London’s LGBT+ community (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, queer, questioning, intersex, non-binary, asexual, polysexual, genderqueer and gender variant people) to raise awareness of LGBT+ issues and campaign for the freedoms that will allow them to live their lives on a genuinely equal footing.

Our annual Parade through the heart of the West End gives us a chance to be visible and speak loudly to the rest of the city about what we have achieved, how far we have come and what is still needed.
