Oral History Volunteer
1 Thorpe Close, Ladbroke Grove

The Association of Calypsonians UK,(ACUK) have an exciting volunteer opportunity to support the creation of an oral history archive for the Association. We are looking for volunteers to interview and record local Calypsonians and record their personal history, these recordings will be archived and stored at the London Metropolitan of Archives. Volunteers will interview 1-3 people; each interview will take no longer than two hours and will happen in a public place. Volunteers will then transcribe someone else's interview, which is as important as the oral recording itself.
We want to celebrate this milestone by launching an archive (to be deposited with London Metropolitan archives) and a memorial book.
